The short answer
Legrabox is Blum's premium drawer system, combining slim, high-sided steel drawer sides with integrated soft-close and, on longer runs, tip-on or servo-drive options — as opposed to a standard drawer box built from board with a separate runner fitted underneath. The slim steel sides increase usable internal width for the same external cabinet dimension and support easier integration of organisational inserts.
What is actually different from a standard drawer
A standard drawer is a timber-based box sitting on a separate runner. Legrabox integrates the drawer side, the runner and the soft-close mechanism into one slim steel system, which increases internal capacity for the same cabinet width and gives a more refined look at the open drawer edge.
Where it is worth specifying
Deep pot drawers, pantry drawers and any run where internal organisation — dividers, cutlery trays, integrated inserts — matters most are where Legrabox's design pays off most clearly. It is a genuine upgrade rather than a purely cosmetic one, on the drawers used hardest.
The cost trade-off
Legrabox costs more per drawer than a standard soft-close drawer box, so many kitchens specify it on high-use drawers — pots, cutlery, pantry — and use a standard soft-close drawer elsewhere, rather than throughout the entire kitchen.

Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor. Our own team fits it in Central Queensland; your installer fits it anywhere else in Australia. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
