Standard container widths change everything
A 20 or 40-foot shipping container has a fixed, narrow internal width once insulation and lining are added, which rules out some layouts outright and makes every centimetre of cabinetry depth a real decision. We draw to your actual internal measurements rather than a generic room width.
Flat pack is close to essential here
Container door openings and internal corridors are tighter than a standard house, and an assembled carcass can simply not fit through where a flat carton will. This is one of the clearest cases where flat pack is the practical choice rather than a preference.
Ventilation and condensation need extra thought
Steel containers behave differently to timber-framed construction under humidity and temperature swings — worth discussing insulation and ventilation with your builder alongside the kitchen, since moisture-resistant carcasses matter even more in this build type.

Our own team fits it in Central Queensland; your installer fits it anywhere else in Australia. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
