What is different
about the ACT.
The cabinetry is identical in every state. What changes is who licenses the trades who connect it and who assesses a second dwelling if you are building one. In the ACT, plumbing and electrical licences are checked with Access Canberra. Ask for the number, look it up yourself, and ask for evidence of insurance at the same time — it takes a minute and an unlicensed connection can fail an inspection, void an insurance claim and surface in a building report when you sell.
If the kitchen is going into a granny flat, studio or secondary dwelling, the planning rules are set by your council under the state framework and they change. Granny flat rules in the ACT covers what to check before you design anything.

Do you install kitchens in the ACT?
No. Our own team installs in Central Queensland only. In the ACT your builder, carpenter or kitchen installer fits it from the dimensioned service drawings that ship with the order.
Who do I check a tradesperson's licence with in the ACT?
Access Canberra. Ask for the licence number and look it up yourself before anyone starts, and ask for evidence of insurance at the same time.
Can I order without visiting a showroom?
That is the only way we work. Send the room dimensions and photos, a designer draws it, and you get the drawing and a fixed itemised quote back. Nothing is due to see either, and nothing is cut until you sign the drawing off.
Delivered assembled
The assembly is done
before it arrives.
Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor. Your builder or installer levels it, fixes it and fits the benchtop, working from our drawings. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
