Cut to your drawing · freighted to Hall

Flat pack kitchens,
freighted into Hall.

The cabinetry that goes into a Hall kitchen is the same cabinetry we put in our own installed jobs: 18mm moisture-resistant board, laser-bonded edging, Blum hardware. What differs is that your trades fit it rather than ours.

The short answer

Yes. Nothing about Hall changes the product: 18mm moisture-resistant board, laser-bonded edging and Blum soft-close hardware on every cabinet, cut to your drawing and freighted south along the Newell and Hume highways. What changes is the freight line on the quote and who fits it, because installation outside Central Queensland is your own builder or installer rather than us.

Custom flat pack kitchen cabinetry delivered to Hall, ACT

What brief does Hall actually set?

The nearest cabinetmaker is not close, and that changes what matters. A complete, labelled delivery with every panel pre-drilled and every hardware bag matched to its cabinet means the job does not stall waiting on one missing part from three hours away. Genuinely cold winters, a lot of townhouses with tight access, and a rental market that turns over hard.

What is the run to Hall?

Your kitchen is cut in Rockhampton and freighted south along the Newell and Hume highways. Flat cartons are labelled to a numbered drawing, one per cabinet where possible, with doors and fronts wrapped separately and the Blum hardware bagged against the cabinet it belongs to. Assembled orders arrive as finished boxes, doors hung and adjusted, which takes more truck space and shows as a higher freight line. Both are on the same quote so the choice is a number rather than a guess.

Who fits it in Hall?

Your builder, carpenter or kitchen installer, plus a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician for their parts. Ask each for a licence number and check it yourself — in the ACT that is Access Canberra. Every order ships with dimensioned service drawings showing each waste, water point and outlet, so the trades rough in to the plan rather than to a guess. Our install guide sets out the three trades and the fixed order they work in.

What does the quote actually itemise?

Every cabinet as its own line with its width and what is in it, the benchtop by material and linear metre, the hardware by brand, the doors by finish, and freight to your Hall postcode on a line of its own. No allowances, no provisional sums, no "from" price with the catches left out. If you take an item off, you see exactly what comes off the total, which is the point of itemising it in the first place.

Why is there no design portal to log into?

Plenty of suppliers hand you a portal and let the software approve your own mistakes. We do not. A designer in Rockhampton draws your Hall kitchen from your measurements and photographs, and catches the things software does not: the window reveal that stops an overhead, the door swing that fouls the fridge, the floor that falls 30mm across the run. You see the drawing before you pay anything.

Where should the cartons sit before the trades arrive?

Somewhere dry, flat and off a concrete slab. Packed panels are fine stored flat and stacked, and they are not fine leaning against a wall for a fortnight or sitting where a slab can wick moisture into them. A garage on timber bearers or a couple of pallets is ideal. Open the cartons and check them against the drawing when they arrive, then close them again.

Where else do you ship in the ACT and region?

We ship to Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, Belconnen, Woden, Weston Creek, Molonglo Valley on the same route. The the ACT and region page covers the region, and the ACT covers the state.

The specification

Built for this
climate, not a catalogue.

Cold, damp winters in older uninsulated housing produce condensation, and condensation sits on the underside of a benchtop and in the back of a sink cabinet where nobody looks. Moisture-resistant board handles that; standard board swells quietly for a year and then lets go.

The same three questions decide any kitchen anywhere: board thickness and moisture rating, edging method, hardware brand. Ours are 18mm moisture-resistant, laser-bonded and Blum, and they are printed on every quote. How to judge a flat pack.

Frequently asked

Hall — questions

If your question is not here, call the studio. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.

Ask us directly →
Do you deliver flat pack kitchens to Hall?

Yes. Hall is served south along the Newell and Hume highways, and freight is quoted to your postcode as its own line on the quote rather than folded into the cabinetry price.

Do you install kitchens in Hall?

No. Our own installation team works Central Queensland only. In Hall your builder, carpenter or kitchen installer fits it, working from the dimensioned service drawings that ship with every order. Our install guide covers the three trades and the order they work in.

Should I order flat pack or assembled to Hall?

Both are quoted on the same drawing. Flat cartons ship for less and get through tight doorways; assembled arrives with carcasses built and doors adjusted so your installer is fitting rather than building. Over this distance most the ACT and region orders go flat.

Who can do the plumbing and electrical in Hall?

A licensed plumber and a licensed electrician, and you should check both licences yourself before they start. In the ACT, Access Canberra is the register to check against.

What board and hardware do you use?

18mm moisture-resistant board, laser-bonded edging and Blum soft-close hinges and runners on every cabinet, in every state. The specification is printed on your quote so you can hold it against anything else you are offered.

How long will a Hall order take?

It depends on the kitchen and the freight route, so it is stated on your quote for your job rather than guessed here. What you can plan around is the sequence: drawing, your sign-off, cutting, then freight.

Delivered assembled

The assembly is done
before it arrives.

Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor. Your builder or installer levels it, fixes it and fits the benchtop, working from our drawings. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
