What is in the kit
Base cabinets cut to your run length with a sink base, a drawer bank and cold-storage provision. A benchtop in laminate, or a stone benchtop templated on site after the cabinets are in. Overheads where the ceiling allows. Blum soft-close hinges and full-extension runners, adjustable legs, kickboards and end panels. Every panel pre-drilled and labelled to a numbered drawing, with the service drawing your plumber works from.
Where a flat pack kitchenette makes sense
Rooms you cannot get a built cabinet into: under-house conversions with a low door, upstairs studios, converted sheds and site offices. Multi-unit jobs where a builder is fitting six of the same thing. Interstate, where a carton of panels travels for a fraction of an assembled cabinet. And any job where the person on site is capable and would rather spend an afternoon than pay for assembly.
What to decide before you order
Whether there is an oven, because that sets the run length more than anything else. Where the waste can run, because in a conversion the plumbing decides the layout, not the other way round. Ceiling height, for overheads. And whether the room is self-contained, because a second cooking facility can change how a council classifies the property — ask before you build.

From $4,500 with a laminate benchtop, including carcasses, doors and Blum hardware. Run length, a stone benchtop and any cooktop or appliance provision move it from there; freight is quoted to your postcode.
Can I assemble it myself?
Yes. A kitchenette is a handful of cabinets, and the panels are pre-drilled and labelled. Our assembly guide covers the order and the tools. The plumbing and any electrical must still be done by licensed trades.
Does it come with a sink and tap?
The sink base is cut for a standard inset sink. Sink, tap and appliances are quoted as line items if you want us to supply them, or you source your own and tell us the cut-out sizes.
Is a kitchenette enough for a granny flat?
Usually not. A granny flat is a dwelling, and a full compact kitchen serves it better — see granny flat kitchens. A kitchenette suits a studio, a single room or a space where guests reheat rather than cook.

Our own team fits it in Central Queensland; your installer fits it anywhere else in Australia. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
