What is a kitchen up against in Wallaroo?
A house within reach of sea air is a harder brief than it looks: the finish has to survive the light and the hardware has to survive the salt. We answer the second with Blum on every hinge and runner, and the first with a finish you choose off real samples. Long coastlines, salt air and towns where the nearest cabinetmaker is two hours away.
How is a Wallaroo order freighted?
Your kitchen is cut in Rockhampton and freighted west via the Eyre Highway. Flat cartons are labelled to a numbered drawing, one per cabinet where possible, with doors and fronts wrapped separately and the Blum hardware bagged against the cabinet it belongs to. Assembled orders arrive as finished boxes, doors hung and adjusted, which takes more truck space and shows as a higher freight line. Both are on the same quote so the choice is a number rather than a guess.
Who fits it in Wallaroo?
Your builder, carpenter or kitchen installer, plus a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician for their parts. Ask each for a licence number and check it yourself — in South Australia that is SA Consumer and Business Services. Every order ships with dimensioned service drawings showing each waste, water point and outlet, so the trades rough in to the plan rather than to a guess. Why is there no design portal to log into?
Plenty of suppliers hand you a portal and let the software approve your own mistakes. We do not. A designer in Rockhampton draws your Wallaroo kitchen from your measurements and photographs, and catches the things software does not: the window reveal that stops an overhead, the door swing that fouls the fridge, the floor that falls 30mm across the run. You see the drawing before you pay anything.
What cabinet sizes should I be asking for?
You should not have to ask: the run is drawn to your wall, so the cabinet widths come out of the measurement rather than being chosen from a list. What is worth deciding is the split between drawers and cupboards, because that is the difference you live with. Can I order the kitchen in stages?
Not every Wallaroo job needs the whole kitchen at once. Builders regularly take the base run first and the overheads and pantry later, and renovators sometimes take the kitchen now and the laundry in six months. The drawing stays on file, so a later order matches the first exactly - same board, same colour batch where we can, same hardware. Say so on the quote request and it is priced in stages.

Do you install kitchens in Wallaroo?

Should I order flat pack or assembled to Wallaroo?
Both are quoted on the same drawing. Flat cartons ship for less and get through tight doorways; assembled arrives with carcasses built and doors adjusted so your installer is fitting rather than building. Over this distance most the Yorke and Eyre Peninsulas orders go flat.
Who can do the plumbing and electrical in Wallaroo?
A licensed plumber and a licensed electrician, and you should check both licences yourself before they start. In South Australia, SA Consumer and Business Services is the register to check against.

Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor.
