Some people would rather spend a weekend with a drill than pay for assembly, and they are right to. This is the same kitchen we deliver assembled, packed for you to build — with the drawings that make it go together first time.
What you are actually building
Carcasses, one per carton, pre-drilled for the Blum hinges and runners bagged with them. Doors and drawer fronts arrive finished; you hang and adjust them. Kickboards, end panels and fillers are cut to length. Every carcass is numbered to a drawing that shows where it goes and which hardware it takes. There is no cutting, no measuring hinge positions, and nothing that needs a workshop — a drill-driver, a square, a level and a flat floor.
What stays with the trades
Plumbing and electrical connection is licensed work in every Australian state, and it is what produces the compliance paperwork you need at sale or for insurance. You build the cabinets and cut the service holes to our drawing; the plumber and electrician connect at fit-off. Stone benchtops are templated by a fabricator after the cabinets are in. Everything else — assembly, levelling, fixing to the wall, hanging doors — is yours if you want it.
Honest about the time
A kitchenette is an afternoon. A full kitchen with an island and a pantry is several days for a careful first-timer, and it lands at the end of a renovation when patience is shortest. The assembly guide sets out the order and the mistakes that cost a weekend. If the time is not there, the same kitchen ships delivered assembled and the quote shows both, so it is a line item rather than a leap.
Support that is a person
There is no portal and no ticket queue. If a panel is damaged or a cabinet number does not match the drawing, you ring the studio and speak to the person who drew it. Photos of the problem get a same-day answer; a replacement panel is cut to the drawing on file rather than re-measured.

The cabinetry, yes, if you can use a drill-driver and a level and have a flat floor to work on. Panels are pre-drilled and labelled so nothing is measured on site. Plumbing and electrical connection stay with licensed trades.
What tools do I need?
Drill-driver with a clutch, a square, a rubber mallet, a long level, clamps, a hex key and a Phillips driver for the Blum hardware. Nothing exotic.
What if something is missing or damaged?
Check the delivery against the drawing on the day. Ring the studio with a photo and a cabinet number and a replacement is cut to the drawing on file.
Is DIY flat pack cheaper than assembled?
The cabinetry is the same price. You save the assembly labour and some freight volume; both are separate lines on the quote so you can see exactly what you are trading your weekend for.
Do you ship DIY kitchens interstate?
Yes, anywhere in Australia. Flat cartons travel well and cost less to ship than assembled cabinets; freight is quoted to your postcode.

Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor. Our own team fits it in Central Queensland; your installer fits it anywhere else in Australia. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
