Ti Tree orders,
cut to the millimetre.
No showroom, no design portal and no catalogue of fixed widths. You send the measurements and the photographs, a designer draws your Ti Tree kitchen, and the quote comes back fixed and itemised with freight on its own line.
The short answer
Kitchens for Ti Tree are drawn in Rockhampton from the measurements you send, approved by you before anything is cut, then packed flat or assembled and freighted north-west via the Barkly and Stuart highways. The quote itemises every cabinet, the benchtop by material and metre, the hardware by brand and the freight separately. We supply only — your trades install it.

What does Ti Tree housing do to a kitchen?
Older housing stock means walls that are not straight and ceilings that are not level, and a catalogue kitchen deals with both by filling the gap with a panel. Cutting to the measured room is the difference between a kitchen that fits and one that has been made to fit. Extreme dry heat and dust, and a long way from any cabinetmaker, which is the case for a complete labelled delivery.
How does the kitchen get to Ti Tree?
Your kitchen is cut in Rockhampton and freighted north-west via the Barkly and Stuart highways. Flat cartons are labelled to a numbered drawing, one per cabinet where possible, with doors and fronts wrapped separately and the Blum hardware bagged against the cabinet it belongs to. Assembled orders arrive as finished boxes, doors hung and adjusted, which takes more truck space and shows as a higher freight line. Both are on the same quote so the choice is a number rather than a guess.
Who fits it in Ti Tree?
Your builder, carpenter or kitchen installer, plus a licensed plumber and a licensed electrician for their parts. Ask each for a licence number and check it yourself — in the Northern Territory that is NT Building Practitioners Board. Every order ships with dimensioned service drawings showing each waste, water point and outlet, so the trades rough in to the plan rather than to a guess. Our install guide sets out the three trades and the fixed order they work in.
What happens if something arrives damaged?
Check the delivery against the numbered drawing on the day it lands in Ti Tree, before the truck leaves if you can. Count the cartons, look at the door and drawer fronts. If a panel is damaged or a carton is missing, photograph it and ring the studio the same day. A replacement is cut from the drawing we hold on file, so it matches the rest of the kitchen rather than being re-measured from scratch.
Do I need council approval to replace a kitchen?
Replacing a kitchen in the same footprint is generally not something that needs approval on its own, but moving plumbing or structural work can change that, and it is your local council that decides, not us. Check with the Ti Tree council directly before you commit to a layout that moves the sink. If the kitchen is going into a new secondary dwelling the approval question is a different and much bigger one.
What should be ready before the kitchen lands?
The old kitchen out, the floor as level as it is going to get, walls patched and painted where the cabinets will not cover them, and the plumber and electrician booked for the days after the fit rather than the same day. Painting after the cabinetry is in is slower and the cut-in never looks as good. Our installation guide sets out the order of trades.

The specification
Built for this
climate, not a catalogue.
Dry heat, dust and hard water are the local test. Dry heat shrinks poorly-made joints and dust finds its way into cheap runners until they grate. Blum runners and hinges are sealed and carry a lifetime mechanical warranty, which is why we fit nothing else.
The same three questions decide any kitchen anywhere: board thickness and moisture rating, edging method, hardware brand. Ours are 18mm moisture-resistant, laser-bonded and Blum, and they are printed on every quote. How to judge a flat pack.

Frequently asked
Ti Tree — questions
If your question is not here, call the studio. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.
Ask us directly →Do you deliver flat pack kitchens to Ti Tree?
Yes. Ti Tree is served north-west via the Barkly and Stuart highways, and freight is quoted to your postcode as its own line on the quote rather than folded into the cabinetry price.
Do you install kitchens in Ti Tree?
No. Our own installation team works Central Queensland only. In Ti Tree your builder, carpenter or kitchen installer fits it, working from the dimensioned service drawings that ship with every order. Our install guide covers the three trades and the order they work in.
Should I order flat pack or assembled to Ti Tree?
Both are quoted on the same drawing. Flat cartons ship for less and get through tight doorways; assembled arrives with carcasses built and doors adjusted so your installer is fitting rather than building. Over this distance most Central Australia orders go flat.
Who can do the plumbing and electrical in Ti Tree?
A licensed plumber and a licensed electrician, and you should check both licences yourself before they start. In the Northern Territory, NT Building Practitioners Board is the register to check against.
What board and hardware do you use?
18mm moisture-resistant board, laser-bonded edging and Blum soft-close hinges and runners on every cabinet, in every state. The specification is printed on your quote so you can hold it against anything else you are offered.
Can I see a sample before ordering in Ti Tree?
Yes. Door, board and edging samples are posted out, and for most people that settles the colour question better than a screen does. Ask when you send the dimensions through.
Delivered assembled
The assembly is done
before it arrives.
Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor. Your builder or installer levels it, fixes it and fits the benchtop, working from our drawings. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
