Every pair visible,
none of them creased.
Folded over a rail, trousers crease at the knee and you can only see the top pair. On arms, you see all of them.

How does a trouser rack work?
A frame of individual arms on full-extension runners. Each pair hangs full length from its own arm, the frame pulls out of the robe, and every pair is visible and reachable at once. The alternative — folded over a rail, stacked — creases them at the fold and hides everything behind the first pair.
How much space does it take?
Less than people expect in width, more than they expect in depth, because trousers hang full length. That makes it a poor fit for a shallow robe and a natural fit for a walk-in. We check it against the robe depth on the drawing, and will tell you when it does not fit rather than letting you find out on delivery.
Side-mounted or full width?
A side-mounted rack takes a narrow slice and suits a shared robe where one person needs it. A full-width pull-out holds considerably more and suits a dedicated section. The decision is about how the robe is divided between people, which is why it is worth saying at drawing stage who is using what.
What about belts and ties?
Usually the same section of the robe and usually a different fitting — a pull-out rack with hooks, covered on valet rods and racks. The two go together often enough that we draw them as a pair.
How does it arrive?
Flat packed it arrives with the cabinet it belongs to and you fit it as you build that cabinet. Ordered delivered assembled, it is fitted and adjusted before the carton is closed.
Why this matters when you pick who builds it
None of this is exotic. It is the ordinary detail of specifying joinery properly, and the reason it is written down is that most quotes do not account for any of it. Someone who has not thought about the drop height on your rail, the clearance your drawer needs or where the mirror sits when it is open will still quote you a number — it will just be a number for a robe that works less well than it could have. We draw these decisions into the plan before anything is cut. That is what you are choosing when you choose who to buy from.

Frequently asked
Pull-out trouser rack — questions
If your question is not here, call the studio. We would rather talk it through than have you guess.
Ask us directly →What is a pull-out trouser rack?
A frame of individual arms on runners where each pair of trousers hangs full length, so all of them are visible when the frame is pulled out.
How deep does a wardrobe need to be for a trouser rack?
Deeper than most people allow, because trousers hang full length. We check it against your robe depth when the joinery is drawn.
Side-mounted or full width?
Side-mounted takes a narrow slice and suits a shared robe. Full width holds much more and suits a dedicated section.
Will a trouser rack crease trousers?
Not the way a rail does. Each pair hangs from its own arm rather than folded over a bar, so there is no crease at the knee.
In their words
The people who already
cook in one.
“For what we paid compared to what similar kitchens were costing elsewhere, we’re extremely happy with it.”
Rockhampton
“Could not be happier with our kitchen. The funny thing is, pretty much everyone who’s come over since we installed it has asked who did our kitchen and assumed we spent a lot more than we actually did.”
Gladstone
“Once we saw it in person, it was a pretty easy decision. It looked even better than we expected.”

Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor. Our own team fits it in Central Queensland; your installer fits it anywhere else in Australia. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
