The Gold Coast has its renovation trade covered. What it does not always have is a supplier willing to cut a kitchen to a granny flat, unit or DIY build and ship it flat — which is exactly what we do.
The short answer
We design and cut every kitchen in Rockhampton, Queensland — QLD, about 680 kilometres away. We do not install in the Gold Coast. What we do is exactly what most interstate buyers actually want: a kitchen cut to your measurements, packed flat with the hardware and a labelled drawing, and freighted to your door for you or your installer to build.
Affordable to start, not to look at
Essence, our entry collection, starts at $15,000 flat packed — 18mm moisture-resistant carcasses, laser-bonded edging and Blum soft-close hardware, the same board and hinges as our $47,000 Atelier kitchens. What changes between the collections is the finish, not the bones underneath it. If you want it to read as more than it cost, the upgrade path is short and itemised: stone benchtop, brass hardware, integrated lighting. Nothing about starting affordable means staying there.
What arrives in the Gold Coast
Cartons labelled to a numbered drawing, one per cabinet where possible. Doors and drawer fronts wrapped separately. Blum hinges, runners and adjustable legs bagged per cabinet. Kickboards, end panels and fillers cut to length. A dimensioned drawing with every cabinet numbered, plus the service drawing your plumber and electrician rough in from.
Why flat pack over this distance
A carton of panels travels for a fraction of what an assembled carcass costs to freight, and it survives the trip better — nothing to rack or rattle loose over about 680 kilometres. It is the same reason builders and owner-builders this far from any manufacturer already order cabinetry this way. Assembled is still on the quote if you would rather; you can see what the assembly is actually worth to you before you choose.
What the quote actually itemises
Every cabinet as its own line with its width and what is in it, the benchtop by material and linear metre, the hardware by brand, the doors by finish, and freight to your the Gold Coast postcode on a line of its own. No allowances, no provisional sums, no "from" price with the catches left out. If you take an item off, you see exactly what comes off the total, which is the point of itemising it in the first place.
Appliances: yours or ours
Most the Gold Coast orders come with the appliances already chosen, and that is the easier way round. Send us the model numbers, or the cut-out dimensions from the spec sheet, and the cabinets are cut to take them. If you would rather we supplied them, they are quoted as their own lines. What does not work is guessing: a 900mm cooktop in a cabinet cut for 600mm is a new cabinet, not an adjustment.
Flat pack or assembled, decided on numbers
The cabinetry price is identical. What differs is the assembly line on the quote and the freight line, because assembled cabinets take several times the truck space of the same kitchen in cartons. To the Gold Coast that difference is usually decisive, and most orders this far out go flat. But the quote shows both, so it is a number you compare rather than a decision you are talked into.

No. Our installation team works Central Queensland, within about 150 kilometres of Rockhampton — the Gold Coast is about 680 kilometres away. What we ship is the cabinetry itself: cut to your room, packed flat with the hardware and a labelled drawing, and freighted to your door for you or your own installer to build.
How much does a flat pack kitchen cost, shipped to the Gold Coast?
The same bands as everywhere else: $15,000–$23,000 for Essence, $26,000–$42,000 for Maison, $47,000 and up for Atelier. We do not charge a distance premium on the cabinetry — freight is quoted separately, to your postcode.
Can I upgrade a flat pack kitchen to look more expensive than it was?

How long does freight to the Gold Coast take?
It depends on the kitchen and the freight route, so it is stated on your quote rather than guessed here. Flat cartons move faster and cheaper than assembled carcasses over this kind of distance, which is the main reason we recommend flat pack once a job is outside Queensland.
Can I get it delivered assembled instead?
Yes, the quote shows both. Assembled cabinets take more truck space so the freight line is higher; flat pack is what most buyers this far from Rockhampton choose once they see the difference.

Carcasses built square on a bench, Blum hardware fitted, doors hung and adjusted to even gaps. On site you are fixing finished cabinets to a wall, not building them on the floor. Our own team fits it in Central Queensland; your installer fits it anywhere else in Australia. Prefer to build it yourself? The same kitchen ships flat pack.
